I began with a course in Anatomy and Physiology then followed by two year training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy at the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust in London. I graduated in 2013 and I have never looked back.
I have undertaken further training in trauma with Katherine Ukleja’s Hands on Trauma. I have also studied with Richard Kramer on Working with Babies and with Satya Shepherd on her course Family Affair which is a mothers, babies and children course.
I feel so passionate about Craniosacral Therapy and after joining the Craniosacral Therapy Association of the UK I was invited to become a Trustee of it. I am also active in research projects being run by the Association.
I work in North Yorkshire, UK
My interest in health and healing began when in Florida, recovering from a divorce, a friend gave me a Craniosacral Therapy treatment that she had won in a raffle. I was feeling stressed, broken and lacking in self-confidence and that one treatment blew it all away. I was extremely impressed.
My background was in recruitment and then on-line retail and so it was a complete change of career but I knew I wanted to study some form of healing with my hands. The treatment I had in America had to be the type of complementary therapy I should choose. I believe in listening to my body and this felt like a door was being opened and I should go through it.
